Gems →

Socketing Gems

1. Gems can be inserted into items with sockets.

2. You may remove or replace gems at any time.

Normal Gems

1. Normal Gems provide attribute bonuses to secondary equipment.

2. The color of the gem must match the socket color: red, yellow, or blue.

3. Normal Gems may be upgraded by combining multiple identical gems together.

4. As you level up a Normal Gem it gains a Refinement bonus, increasing the base attribute for any item the gem is socketed into.

Legendary Gems

1. Legendary Gems provide powerful bonuses to primary equipment.

2. Legendary Gems can be upgraded by combining multiple Legendary Gems of the same name and Rank as well as additional Legendary Gems for Gem Power.

3. You can improve the quality of a 5-Star gem by using a higher quality gem of the same name as an upgrade material.

4. If a 5-Star gem is socketed with Resonant Gems, their provided Gem Power can be used to help with upgrades.

Binding

Gems from different sources can drop as Bound or Unbound. Socketing an Unbound gem will bind it. Upgrading an Unbound Legendary Gem greater than Rank 5 with Bound materials will bind it.

1. Unbound Gems can be used for Socketing, Crafting or sold on the Market.

2. Bound Gems cannot be sold on the Market, but can still be used for Socketing and Crafting.

General Rules

1. Gem Power Extraction, Infusion, and Transfer are available to all Legendary Gems that are at least Rank 2.

2. Legendary Gems will be rendered dormant when extracted or used as transfer material.

Extraction

1. Extracting the power of a Legendary Gem will render the gem dormant.

2. The extracted Gem Power will be bound or unbound, depending on the gem extracted, and stored in your inventory.

Infusion

1. If a Legendary Gem is consumed through Power Transfer or Power Extraction and rendered dormant, it can be returned to its original state by infusing an equivalent amount of Gem Power.

Transfer

1. Power Transfer consumes the power of another Legendary Gem you own and applies it to a Dormant Legendary Gem. This may require consuming multiple gems after the first, and any Gem Power in excess of what the dormant gem requires will be stored in inventory.

Dormant Gems

1. Power Extraction, Infusion, or Transfer does not change the Rank or Quality (star-count) of a gem.

2. Dormant gems cannot be upgraded but they can be used as auxiliary gems.

3. Dormant gems can be socketed in equipment, but their abilities and attributes will not take effect.

4. After extracting an unbound gem, the resulting dormant gem cannot be traded. If the dormant unbound gem is infused or transferred with unbound gem power, it will be rendered tradeable again.

Power Infusion Rules

1. If a Legendary Gem is consumed through Power Transfer or Power Extraction and rendered dormant, it can be returned to its original state by infusing an equivalent amount of Gem Power.

2. Power Infusion does not change the Rank or Quality (star-count) of a gem.

3. Dormant gems cannot be upgraded or socketed into equipment. However, they can be used as auxiliary gems.

4. After extracting an unbound gem, the resulting dormant gem cannot be traded. If the dormant unbound gem is infused or transferred with unbound gem power, it will be rendered tradeable again.

Power Transfer Rules

1. Power Transfer consumes the power of another Legendary Gem you own and applies it to a Dormant Legendary Gem. This may require consuming multiple gems after the first, and any Gem Power in excess of what the dormant gem requires will be stored in inventory.

2. Power Transfer does not change the Rank or Quality (star-count) of a gem.

3. After extracting an unbound gem, the resulting dormant gem cannot be traded. If the dormant unbound gem is infused or transferred with unbound gem power, it will be rendered tradeable again.

Power Extraction Rules

1. Extracting the power of an eligible Legendary Gem will render the gem dormant. The extracted Gem Power will be bound or unbound, depending on the gem extracted, and stored in your inventory.

2. Power Extraction does not change the Rank or Quality (star-count) of a gem.

Auxiliary Gem Rules

1. Legendary Gems can be inlaid with Auxiliary Gems, replacing the Legendary Essence of the base gem with the Auxiliary Gem's Essence.

2. The effect of the Auxiliary Gem's Essence will always be set to Rank 1.

3. The base Gem can only be inlaid with an Auxiliary gem of equal Quality (star count)

4. Only one of each Legendary Gem may be equipped at a time, including both base gems and Auxiliary gems.

Gem Crafting

1. You can craft Legendary Gems with Telluric Fragments or Fading Embers.

1-Star Gems will always be Quality 1.

2-Star Gems will always be Quality 2.

5-Star Gems will be created between Quality 2 and 5.

Gem Splitting

1. Bound Normal Gems can be split three times a week, resulting in lower rank Bound Normal Gems of the same type and materials.

2. Tradeable gems have no splitting limit, resulting in tradeable Rank 1 gems and no material loss.

Gem Crafting Probabilities

The probability to craft a Random Legendary Gem:

1-Star (Quality 1): 75.395%

2-Star (Quality 2): 20.105%

5-Star (Quality 2): 3.375%

5-Star (Quality 3): 0.90%

5-Star (Quality 4): 0.18%

5-Star (Quality 5): 0.045%

When crafting a Random 1-Star or 2-Star Legendary Gem all gems of that rarity have the same chance to be created (note: Fervent Fang does not drop from Elder Rift and can't be crafted).

Legendary Gem Pool

Select Gem Drop Rate Probability

1. When a maximum 5-star Legendary Gem drops, the drop rates of the 8 selected Legendary Gems will be increased. The overall drop rate for maximum 5-star Legendary Gems remains unchanged at 4.5%.

2. The drop rate for each selected Legendary Gem increases from 5% to 7.5%, with these 8 gems accounting for 60% of the total Legendary Gem drop rate.

3. The drop rate for gem stars remains the same, with the final star probabilities being:

2 stars: 75%; 3 stars: 20%; 4 stars: 4%; 5 stars: 1%.

4. Up to 900 Legendary Crests can be used during the event.

5. For every 50 Legendary Crests used, you are guaranteed to receive at least one maximum 5-star Legendary Gem. For every 50 Eternal Legendary Crests used, you are guaranteed to receive at least one unbound maximum 5-star Legendary Gem.

6. When using multiple Crests, each Crest's drop is calculated independently.

Mirrored Jewels Rules

During the event, the Mirrored Jewels bonus can only be activated once. After the chosen Elder Rift attempt, for every regular Legendary Gem that dropped, another of the same type will be delivered via in-game mail. These additional gems will be bound and have random Quality, with the same drop rates as 5-Star Legendary Gem drops in Elder Rifts. This bonus only applies to players who have activated the Mirrored Jewels and does not extend to teammates.
