Who writes for RaidDex
RaidDex is a small, independent team of players. The site was founded and built by eRnstl, who also writes all of our news.
Guides and builds are written by authors who play the game themselves. Every author has a profile with their name and a short introduction – and every article shows who wrote it.
How guides and builds are made
We write about what we have played and tested ourselves: with our own screenshots, our own numbers and the state of the current patch.
We recreate every build in full in the planner – skills, gear and stats can be checked there. The summary, strengths, weaknesses and playstyle sit above the planner so you can quickly see whether a build suits you.
A guide answers the question right at the start and then goes into detail. We never hide tables or step-by-step instructions behind images or tabs.
Four eyes before anything goes live
Before a guide or build goes live, someone on the editorial team who did not write it reviews it: are the values and details correct? Does everything match the current patch? Are images described and sources named?
Our editor also checks the title, description, images and links. Only when everything is in order can an article be submitted for approval.
Who reviewed an article and for which patch is shown below it (“Reviewed for Patch … on …”).
Updating instead of starting over
With every new patch we go through the affected guides and builds and update them at the same address. If an article has not been reviewed for the latest patch yet, we say so at the top.
The “Updated” date only changes when the content has changed – not for typo fixes. What changed is listed in the “Changes” section below the article.
Tier lists and ratings
Tier lists are put together by the editorial team. Editors propose changes, which only go live after a second review.
Community builds come from players, are labelled as such and are moderated by us – but they do not go through the editorial review.
How we use AI
For us, AI is a tool, not an author. We use it for things like outlines, spelling and translation drafts.
Facts, numbers, ratings and recommendations come from people and are checked by people. Translations are proofread by someone who knows the game’s terms.
If an AI tool helped with the draft of an article or its images, we say so below the article.
Sources
Besides playing ourselves, we rely on official sources: patch notes, announcements and posts by the developers. Where it helps, we link to them directly.
Found a mistake?
On every page you can use “Report” to tell us about a mistake or outdated information. Every report goes to the editorial team; we check it and correct the article. Larger corrections are listed in the “Changes” section.
Independent and free
RaidDex is free and funded by voluntary support and advertising. Publishers and advertisers have no influence on guides, builds, tier lists or ratings.
