Ciri has gone through the mutations, has cat’s eyes and hunts monsters for coin as a witcher. In the reveal trailer she takes a contract in Stromford, a remote village in the north that has sacrificed a girl to appease the Bauk for generations. She defeats the monster – and learns that sometimes the monsters are the people she is trying to protect. The game sets out to explore what it means to become a witcher.
