Dungeons in the Eastern Kingdoms

Six of the nine dungeons are in the Eastern Kingdoms, spanning levels 13 to 45.

Hall of Thanes (13–18): the resting place of dwarven monarchs beneath Ironforge, broken into by intruders suspected to be Dark Iron dwarves.
Ruins of Lordaeron (15–20): the Forsaken are reclaiming the city, but a necromancer is gathering power among the Scourge-haunted ruins.
Excavation Site (24–29): beyond the Wetlands dig site lies a place seemingly frozen in time, guarded by titan constructs and dangerous wildlife.
City of Dalaran (28–33): the barrier has fallen; after earning the Kirin Tor’s trust, groups enter through the sewers and choose among multiple paths.
The Drowned City (35–40): risen troll ruins west of Grom’gol filled with trolls and naga; the entrance is underwater, and mist and rain build into a full storm before the final fight.
Krol’dok Stronghold (40–45): a sprawling ogre fortress in the Riverglades whose outrunners kidnap travelers.

WoW: Forever Hall of Thanes dungeon: dark dwarven hall with a throne beneath Ironforge — Hall of Thanes beneath Ironforge is the first new dungeon at level 13–18.

WoW: Forever The Drowned City dungeon: coral, sea and a shipwreck off Stranglethorn Vale — The Drowned City sits off Stranglethorn Vale and turns stormy before the final encounter.

Dungeons in Kalimdor

Kalimdor holds the three dungeons for the highest levels, 48 to 60.

Alcaz Prison (48–53): the long-sealed prison on Alcaz Island opens, with the Defias Brotherhood and naga locked in conflict inside.
Blackmaw Hold (55–60): a great furbolg city beyond a sealed gate in Azshara – a substantial max-level dungeon with multiple routes and bosses.
Shaper’s Terrace (58–60): a titan facility above Un’Goro Crater where power crystals gathered in the crater are used at consoles inside.

Access: faction and attunement

Two dungeons sit in capital cities: the Alliance reaches Hall of Thanes easily from Ironforge while the Horde must travel into Alliance territory, and the reverse applies to the Ruins of Lordaeron. City of Dalaran needs an attunement – Alliance players start with “An Alarming Request” from Emissary Jacques in Southshore, Horde players with “Key to the City” and “Prison Break-In” from Magus Wordeen Voidglare in Tarren Mill. For an early look, the stress test on October 21 is open to everyone.
