How Camping works
In WoW: Forever, the Cooking profession's simple Cooking Fire expands into a Basic Campfire that creates a shared campsite. Up to three nearby players can each add one crafted camp feature from their profession. Anyone sitting or crafting at the camp for at least a minute gains the other features' benefits, and all camp features share a one-hour cooldown.

The buffs are variants of class buffs and do not stack with them, so an Incense Candle will not combine with Arcane Intellect. Our camp page explains how camps, rested experience and stats fit together.
Cooks can later learn upgraded campfires that hold five or even ten objects, while other professions unlock conveniences such as Alchemy Laboratories and Tanning Racks.

Unlocking and staying safe

You can learn all three secondary professions (Cooking, Fishing, First Aid) plus two primary professions; see our professions page. Blizzard also advises picking campsites carefully: on a PvP Ruleset, enemy players can stumble onto your camp.
