Steps

1. Follow after Mirrel

   Mirrel is rambling about spirits reuniting him with his family in the swamp. Follow after him and make sure he doesn’t get himself killed.

2. Kill the Plague Bats

   Mirrel's emphatically bowing before plagued bats in the swamp. Kill them, and maybe you'll find a way to get him out of here alive.

3. Follow after Mirrel again

   Mirrel is headed south, following a trail only he can see. Keep up with him.

4. Kill the Swamp Beasts

   Swamp beasts have surged up from the fetid water to attack you. Protect Mirrel and deal with them.

5. Follow after Mirrel one last time

   Mirrel seems certain he's found what he's looking for. You may as well follow him.

6. Reach Mirrel

   Mirrel's moved far ahead. Catch up to him.

7. Kill the Massive Tendril and the Beasts

   Mirrel has been slain by a massive creeper vine surging up from the undergrowth. Destroy it and the corrupt beasts that are closing in on you.

8. Examine Mirrel's Corpse

   Mirrel might have been a bit off, but he certainly didn't deserve to die like this. Check on the poor fool.
