Steps

1. Switch to Hell 1 Difficulty, and reach Paragon level 110 →

   A new adventure awaits, but the journey will test your power and courage. Switch your difficulty to Hell 1 and reach Paragon Level 110 to undertake the quest.

2. Speak to Fara and Lysander

   Lut Gholein has fallen under the grasp of both Andariel and Duriel, and yet your numbers have dwindled. Speak to Fara and Lysander to devise a plan on how to gather resources and reinforcements.

3. Leave the Hideout

   In order to defeat Andariel, you require more knowledge and power. Thankfully, Fara knows just the person: the wizard Drognan. Leave the Hideout and search the streets for Drognan.

4. Speak to Fara

   Fara must know how to find Drognan within the Common Ward. Speak to her to find out what clues to look out for.

5. Inspect the Demon Corpse

   Though there have been no sightings of Drognan, Fara believes that he is still attempting to free the city from the Hells' grasp. Search the demon corpse for signs of magic.

6. Continue investigating the demon corpses

   The trail of corpses continue towards the town square. Investigate the next corpse for signs of Drognan.

7. Survive the Ambush

   A horde of demons have appeared! Fight alongside Fara and defend yourselves.

8. Witness Drognan's Appearance

   A group of demons have ambushed you and Fara. No matter how many you two slay, more seem to pour from the streets. However, just when all seems lost, a new ally has arrived.

9. Speak to Drognan

   Your search for Drognan has conveniently led Drognan to yo. Speak to Drognan about the state of Lut Gholein and what you can do to save the city.

10. Return to the Safe House

    Drognan has been found, but the streets of Lut Gholein are not safe. Return to the Safehouse with Drognan and Fara.

11. Escape from Duriel

    Duriel has emerged, intent on devouring you whole. Traverse through the streets of the Common Ward and escape!

12. Enter the Well

    Drognan has led you to his hideout within the well. Leap in before Duriel reaches you!

13. Follow Drognan to Atma's Tavern

    More of your allies have fallen, but the fight must continue. With the loss of manpower, you need strength now more than ever. Follow Drognan to Atma's Tavern so you can recruit Greiz and his men to your cause.

14. Slay the Demons

    You find a familiar face within a dilapidated building, but it's swarming with demons. Slay the fiends and make sure the area is safe.

15. Speak to the Scabrous Beggar

    The Scabrous Beggar you encountered in Sharval is here, in Lut Gholein. Speak to him to see how he got here.

16. Go to Atma's Tavern

    Lysander informed you that Greiz and his men were last seen in Atma's tavern. Head to the tavern and see if you can recruit more to the cause.

17. Speak to Kashya

    The tavern is empty, but Atma and Greiz could not have gone far. Speak to Kashya about what she's found.

18. Speak to Drognan

    The demons have been killed, but there is more to do to save the city. Speak to Drognan about his research and what he's discovered.

19. Enter the Cellar

    While investigating the tavern, you hear sounds from below. Search for a door to the cellar.

20. Descend into the Cellar

    Atma and Greiz are nowhere to be found, however you hear muffled sounds coming from the cellar. Descend downstairs and investigate.

21. Escape from Duriel

    Duriel has emerged once again, intent on devouring you and Drognan. Escape from his grasp and head towards the High Ward!

22. Travel to the High Ward

    The Arcane Sanctuary lies within the High Ward. Evade Duriel's attacks and enter the High Ward.

23. Enter the Arcane Sanctuary

    Jerhyn has given you the key to the Arcane Sanctuary. Enter the ancient workshop and search for knowledge to enter the sewers.

24. Follow Drognan

    Drognan now has the knowledge he needs to break through the barrier blocking the sewer entrance. Reconvene with your allies and follow Drognan to the sewer entrance.

25. Speak to the High Ward Guard

    The High Ward has been freed of Andariel's influence, but the streets are still unsafe. Speak to the High Ward Guard to inform him of the Tomb Hideout.

26. Speak to the High Ward Nobles

    The High Ward has been freed of Andariel's influence, but the streets are still unsafe. Speak to the High Ward nobles to direct them to safety.

27. Speak to the High Ward Servant

    There are still others that need to be directed to a safe place. Continue speaking to the residents of the High Ward.

28. Leave the High Ward

    Drognan has obtained the knowledge he needs within the Arcane Sanctuary to breach the sewer barrier. Leave the High Ward and head to the sewer entrance.

29. Assail the Sewer Entrance

    Now with newfound power and knowledge, fight together with your allies to assail the sewer entrance. Prepare for battle, as Andariel's minions will no doubt attempt to stop you.

30. Quest Complete

    The journey has ended for now, but the battle against Andariel and Duriel has not ended. Steel yourself for the fight to come.
