Once a pious court mage, Manoruk was one of the first to be murdered by his master, King Leoric, when he was driven to madness by the Burning Hells. The injustice fettered Manoruk's spirit between life and death. He waits in Leoric's shadow, and shields the king from visitors--but whether for his lord's protection or theirs, Manoruk cannot say.
