The configuration
This setup is stored as a complete build — gear, skills, runes and all four cube slots work together and are not assembled from individual statistics.
- Set: Firebird's Finery
- Rating: tier A across all classes
- Kanai's Cube: Orb of Infinite Depth, Mantle of Channeling, Ring of Royal Grandeur, The Furnace
- Skills: Familiar (Sparkflint), Disintegrate (Chaos Nexus), Explosive Blast (Chain Reaction), Teleport (Reversal), Magic Weapon (Deflection), Frost Nova (Shatter)
- Passives: Audacity, Galvanizing Ward, Elemental Exposure, Evocation
- Variants available: GR push, Torment 16 / Nephalem rifts, Speed farming
What the set does
This build wears Firebird's Finery. These bonuses apply once the matching number of set pieces is equipped — the damage multiplier hangs on them, not on the individual stats of the pieces:
- 2 pieces: Disintegrate Ignites enemies, causing them to take 3000% weapon damage per second until they die. When you die, a meteor falls from the sky and revives you. This effect has a 60 second cooldown.
- 4 pieces: Casting Disintegrate adds Combustion stacks that reduce the cooldown of Teleport by 2% per stack. Stacks up to 50 times. You gain 80% damage reduction while maintaining Combustion stacks.
- 6 pieces: You gain 5000% increased damage while Ignite is applied to a target. Hitting an Ignited enemy with a non-channeling fire spell deals Ignite damage multiplied by Combustion stacks. Pets cannot trigger this effect.
How the variants differ
Measured against the push version. Anything not listed here stays the same:
- Torment 16 / Nephalem rifts: swaps in skills Familiar (Arcanot), Disintegrate (Volatility), Teleport (Calamity), Diamond Skin (Enduring Skin); cube In-geom, Goldwrap; gems Boon of the Hoarder, Bane of the Powerful.
- Speed farming: swaps in skills Spectral Blade (Flame Blades), Teleport (Calamity); cube Convention of Elements; gems Bane of the Powerful.
Sockets and gems
The 3 legendary gems (Bane of the Trapped, Taeguk, Bane of the Stricken) belong in the jewellery slots — that is the only place their rank counts, and the only place they keep growing when you upgrade after a Greater Rift.
The remaining 7 sockets are filled with Ruby: the multiplier already comes from the set and the legendary powers, so one more base stat does more there than another effect would.
On the season theme
Shades of the Nephalem spawns a shadow clone of your class at every shrine and pylon that fights along for one minute. Activate shrines inside the pull, not on the way there. The fourth cube slot is already filled in every variant above.
