The official numbers
Rebel Wolves lowered the requirements in June 2026 — the original floor was higher. The current Steam listing is authoritative:
| Minimum | Recommended | |
|---|---|---|
| OS | Windows 10 (DirectX 12) | Windows 10 (DirectX 12) |
| CPU | Intel Core i5-11400F / AMD Ryzen 7 2700X | Intel Core i7-11700K / AMD Ryzen 7 5700X |
| GPU | NVIDIA GTX 1060 / AMD RX 580 | NVIDIA RTX 4060 / AMD RX 7600 XT / Intel Arc B580 |
| VRAM | 6 GB | 8 GB |
| RAM | 16 GB | 16 GB |
| Storage | 60 GB, SSD required | 60 GB, SSD required |
What this means in practice
The GTX 1060 is good news. A 2016 card as the floor is unusually low for a 2026 Unreal Engine 5 title. If you have upgraded at any point in recent years, you are almost certainly fine.
16 GB of RAM is mandatory, not advisory. Both tiers list the same figure — 8 GB will not run this sensibly.
The SSD is not a suggestion. It appears as a requirement in both columns. Do not attempt this on a mechanical drive.
The CPU jump is bigger than the GPU jump. There is more distance between an i5-11400F and an i7-11700K than between an RX 580 and an RX 7600 XT. For a story-driven open world with a day/night simulation that is plausible — such games are often CPU-bound.

Higher resolutions
Rebel Wolves also published a multi-tier sheet reaching up to 4K. The short version: 1440p at 60 fps on high settings puts you around an RTX 4080 / RX 7900 XTX with 16 GB of VRAM, and native 4K at 60 fps is high-end territory.

Context
These figures predate launch. In practice the real picture tends to shift with the day-one patch and the first driver updates. We will check them against actual measurements after release and update this guide.
