Price and pre-order bonus
ArcheAge Chronicles costs US$29.99 on Steam, €29.99 in Europe and 36,000 won in Korea. You buy the game once, with no subscription. According to XLGAMES, Early Access has no in-game shop at launch. Pre-orders include the Dawn Pioneer Set – outfit, gloves and boots. It applies to one class of your choice and is claimed in-game, so decide on your class first.
What Early Access includes
According to XLGAMES, Early Access is roughly twenty times the size of the demo. It opens most of Diamond Shores plus the new regions Gylden Ruins and Astron Plains – more than 60 areas with over a thousand exploration and collection points. Executive Producer Yongjin Ham says each region offers more than ten hours of main quests. The playable classes are Warrior, Ranger, Berserker and Mage, each with two weapons. Demo progress does not carry over.
Hotfixes are planned weekly or even daily depending on severity, with larger additions roughly every month. The first update in December brings the female Warrior and the Gladius as the Warrior’s third weapon. The other classes follow over time. XLGAMES plans to share a roadmap after launch and shape it around player feedback.
Servers: choose once, choose together
There are three regions with seven locations: Americas (Virginia, Oregon, São Paulo), EU West (Frankfurt) and Asia (Hong Kong, Seoul, Singapore). The game picks your region automatically based on your location. A character stays on the server it was created on, and players on different servers cannot play together. Agree on a server with your party and guild before creating characters. Launch times per time zone, regions and all rules are in our guide servers and launch times.
