The announcement is written as a letter from the Watchtower of Hope, overlooking a distant shore of Auroria. It describes the continent as a land once known only through legend, its shores scattered with crumbling ruins, where adventurers search for the ruins of the Gyldenlord and recluses read the stars by night. Danger lurks as well: the Dark Blades prey upon the trade routes, and reports keep arriving of strange rifts opening across the continent.
The letter also sums up the life of a pioneer: building a home on untamed soil, guiding a wagon laden with trade goods and spreading a glider's wings beyond unknown cliffs. Much of Auroria remains uncharted, and it falls to players to fill the blank spaces on the maps. It closes with the line "May Nui's blessing ever be upon you."
