Signs can deal critical hits. Their critical hit chance and damage increase with Sign Intensity (currently 30% chance to deal an additional 100% damage). Opponents killed by critical hits from Signs explode.

Every mutation you research advances “Strengthened Synapses” by one stage. Each stage unlocks an extra skill slot. Only skills matching the color of the active mutation fit there.
