People say that it's never a good idea to go towards the sound of shouting. But when I overheard some commotion in an alley in Svartrau, my curiosity was piqued.

The soldier won't be a problem anymore. I should talk to the woman, see how she's feeling.

The city guard decided to arrest both me and the woman. I'm not going to let him do it.

It turned out that the commotion in the alley was caused by a soldier who'd accused some woman of keeping a bit of silver – one of the greatest crimes under vrakhiri rule.
