Bad Blood
We went to the mines to go get silver ore for the rebellion – but Brencis caught wind of our plans and attacked. I was wounded, I passed out – I don't remember what happened afterwards. All I know is that my father went missing and I need to find him.

I need to get back to Laslea as soon as possible and save my family from Brencis.

Vlad must have left the mines on his own. I should find him and make sure he's alright.

Defeat Brencis
Brencis sacked Laslea. I need to defeat him in order to save my family.
Possible endings
Depending on your choices the quest ends differently – with different rewards. A playthrough only reaches one of the endings.
Ending 1 (spoiler)
I failed to stop Brencis. He toyed with me like a cat tormenting a mouse – and then left me out in the open, to burn in the sun. Only – I didn't. Why?
Ending 2 (spoiler)
I still can't believe it – Brencis is dead! Slayed by my hand! Who would've thought – who would've dared to hope. Only – what now?
