Trait: Knockback opponents when attacking

Heavy SlamsHit hard. Slam your mace on the ground. Crack the earth.
Stuns and KnockbackStun your enemies. Push them back. Knock them to the ground.
DefencesShrug off small hits with heavy armour. Block big attacks with your shield. Use your large life pool to absorb the rest.

Trait: Natural resilience to elements

Fire SpellsCreate large explosions. Set your enemies on fire. Watch them burn.
Cold SpellsSlow your enemies down. Freeze them in place. Control their movement.
Lightning SpellsBounce lightning around your foes. Shock them for even higher damage.

Trait: Trained to block incoming attacks

Hit and RunClose in for the kill, then cover your retreat with a hail of spears. Don't let your enemies catch you.
Savage AttacksBlind them, bleed them, maim them. Prevail at any cost.
Primal FuryHarness the ferocity of the wilds. Tame beasts and whip up storms.

Trait: Totems remain for longer

AmmunitionSwitch between varied crossbow ammunition. Adapt to enemy behaviour. Exploit their weaknesses.
Elemental RoundsUse cold to freeze them. Use fire rounds to set them aflame. Unleash cascading lightning bolts.
Versatile RangeAdapt to enemy behaviour. Pick them off from afar. Destroy any that get close.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need an account for the PoE2 build planner?

No. Planning, checking and sharing work without signing in – the whole build lives in the link. You only need a free account to save builds and publish them as community builds.

Can I import builds from Path of Building 2?

Yes. Under “Import/Export” the planner accepts a PoB2 code or the official skill tree URL from pathofexile2.com. The other way round it creates a PoB2 code and a .build file for the in-game build planner.

How many passive points does the planner count?

Up to 125 passive points from levelling and quest rewards, plus 25 weapon set points and 8 ascendancy points. Set which campaign bonuses you already have in the stats bar.

Does the planner calculate life, energy shield and resistances?

Yes. The character window calculates life, energy shield, mana, spirit, resistances and attributes from level, passive tree, gear and campaign bonuses. The check shows what doesn’t add up, such as missing attributes for gems or too little spirit.

Are there ready-made builds to start from?

Yes. Start from an editorial build: its passive tree, skills and gear load as your own state and can be changed freely afterwards. How the builds compare is shown in the tier list.
