Dialogue 11
- Nicholas: You're back! How was he doing?
- He was out of his mind. He swallowed something dangerous to avenge his loss.
- Nicholas: Something dangerous?
- (Show him the Black Iron fragment)
- Nicholas: Th-This is...Black Iron...!
- Nicholas: He had something like this inside his body? He must have craved power beyond reason...
- Nicholas: Would you consider entrusting the fragment to me?
- Nicholas: It could become a major breakthrough in gnoll ecology research.
- Is it that important?
- Nicholas: Of course it is!
- Nicholas: Listen. The gnoll that absorbed the Black Iron's power went berserk. Between the intense stimulation and being trapped in that confined space...there's no telling what kind of biological response it triggered.
- Nicholas: Its body may have undergone some kind of mutation! When are we ever going to find another case like this?
- ... Alright. Take it.
- Nicholas: Good... Very good.
- Nicholas: Now that's what I call a successful investigation. Excellent work.
