He Echoes All Throughout

They are not enough. Just copies of him, unfinished, unbound by flesh and blood. I must try again and obtain another vessel. This time, alive. I will bring him back — whole, not bony and broken. Not turned inside out. Not howling and screaming. Just whole, the way he was before. My next attempt must succeed. The newest living vessel is sublime. The perfect fur to rip away and reveal a husk ready to carry his soul. This time, it will work. It simply must. I will get my Ikko back.

Ikko #2

Burst into flames upon ritual completion. Horrible howling. Stench? Even worse. Skeleton is still useful, though. Conclusion: No ever-burning candles. Use regular instead.

Came back wrong. Had teeth growing all over. Organs were already rotted because the carcass was too old. Conclusion: Consider acquiring a living dog and killing it to have a fresh corpse for a vessel.
