Cain's Letter to Leah

Leah, there is something that I have never told you. Shortly before the corruption of Tristram, a witch arrived. Her name was Adria, and she was your mother. Soon after your birth Adria gave you over to Gillian before setting off to fight against the last lords of hell. When Gillian was taken by the madness, I began raising you. Which I did to the best of my ability. I hope you will not think less of me for having withheld this, but for reasons that are difficult to explain it seemed best.
