Dearest Sweetiekins,

It's horrible, what you wrote me. How are you and a few others supposed to hold off an enraged mob? They should either send more men or let you retreat. Tell that to those brilliant generals of yours! High time someone talked some sense into them. You might only be a Corporal Treasurer, but if you lay it all out to them calmly, I'm sure they'll listen to reason.

Be careful out there, sweetie. Always wear a helmet to battle and put on those thick socks I sent when you go to bed. From what I've heard, it's always cold and rainy in the North, so remember to look after your health!
