The radio stations in GTA 6

Radio is as much a part of GTA as the wanted stars. For GTA VI, Rockstar promises the biggest and widest-ranging selection in the series – from classic rock to talk radio. On October 8, Rockstar revealed six of the stations:

GTA 6: traffic on a causeway in front of the Vice City skyline
The radio plays in every car, and Rockstar has revealed six of the stations so far.
  • Cocoteo FM with El Martillo and La Gata: modern Latin music from bachata and merengue to dembow and reggaeton – “el party que nunca se apaga.”
  • Back Country Radio with MW and Delta Dawne: renegade country for the Grassrivers, Port Gellhorn and beyond, plus roving reporter and swamp meteorologist Mud Dog Mike checking in from his airboat.
  • AfroBank FM with Burna and Palmsy: African music from 20th-century classics and undiscovered gems to amapiano and 3-step.
  • The Chamber 106.6 with DJ Kerry and DJ Tom: decades of metal anthems.
  • Flash FM with Robyn and Alex: the Vice City pop institution. A station by that name was already on the air in GTA Vice City.
  • Dirty South Classics with Trick and Trina: regional rap and hip-hop classics from the South.

Previews of all six stations are on Rockstar’s official site. More details on the music are still to come.

Podcasts for the first time – and music on foot

For the first time in the series there are on-demand podcasts for Jason and Lucia beyond terrestrial radio. And music is no longer tied to the car: with new headphones and earbuds connected to their smartphones, radio and podcasts play on foot, too.

Radio and podcasts now also play on foot, through headphones on the phone.
