The date
Grand Theft Auto VI releases on 19 November 2026. Rockstar has since reaffirmed the date, after the game had been delayed twice.
- Platforms: PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S
- PC: not at launch — no PC version has been announced so far
- Preload: from 12 November 2026, at local midnight
- Pre-orders: open since 25 June 2026
The missing PC launch is no surprise: Rockstar shipped both GTA V and Red Dead Redemption 2 on consoles first and followed with the PC version considerably later.
The editions
There are two:
- Standard Edition — the complete game, $79.99 in the US
- Ultimate Edition — adds a collection of vehicles, weapons and outfits, $99.99 in the US
The Ultimate Edition extras do not unlock all at once; they are spread across the chapters of the story. Among them are a 1995 Grotti Cheetah and an army-liveried Dinka Enduro.
Worth knowing if you are still deciding: the Vintage Vice City Pack is free — with any pre-order, but also with a digital purchase up to 20 November 2026. Pre-ordering early buys you nothing extra there.
What is still open
There are no reliable figures yet on euro pricing, a possible PC date, or the scope of the online mode. We will add those once Rockstar confirms them — not before.
