Pre-load from November 10: the timing
If you pre-ordered Grand Theft Auto VI digitally, you can start downloading it on November 10, 2026, nine days before the release date on November 19. The digital pre-load had previously been listed for November 12.
Timing depends on the platform. On PlayStation 5, pre-loading begins at midnight local time in your respective time zone. On Xbox Series X|S, it begins at the same moment worldwide: November 10 at 12 a.m. GMT, which is 7 p.m. ET on November 9.
Code-in-box versions for both consoles should be available from retailers beginning November 12. Rockstar has posted instructions for pre-loading on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S on its support site.

Free poster with a map of Leonida
On November 19, Rockstar will add an official printable Grand Theft Auto VI cover art poster and map of Leonida to the official site as a free digital download. A double-sided physical version will follow shortly after launch from the Rockstar Store, priced at $0.99 on its own or as a free gift with any Rockstar Store purchase.
