A great stone pillar stands atop Resolution's Rise. This human-sized structure was not crafted by human hands but formed naturally over time.
Long ago, three heroes gathered before the pillar, gazing out over the Ephea Peninsula. There, they gave voice to the will of mankind, swearing to stand against the Manifestations that threatened to destroy the world.
Aranzeb, a hero of noble heart who raised the banner of rebellion. Tayang, commander of the Firran army, known as the Scourge of the Gods. Lucius, the great bard. These three together forged the covenant.
Thus, the stone pillar came to be known as the Oathstone.
To most, it is but a stone upon a hill. Yet to historians, it holds immense historical value.
