Worn Diary

A few days ago, my brother found an old bloodstained scroll in a theater basement. The words "Mask of Depravity" were written all over it. Ever since, my brother's been different. He kept saying that whoever wears the mask will become the true king.

He tore through maps and blueprints like a madman. His hands were all bloody, yet he kept digging and saying, "We can end our poverty." This isn't like him at all... I couldn't leave him alone like that, so I followed him deep underground.

There's writing carved into the walls... "Mask of Depravity, Trials of the King." Now, those words won't leave me alone and torment me in my dreams...
