I knew from the very moment I grabbed the crimson stone.

I was never an ordinary man... Long ago, I was something far greater.

I never fell on that ancient battlefield. I was the one who crushed them all.

If I reclaim that power, that pure darkness, the nightmares will come to an end. Guilt...betrayal...murder. Those are not mine to bear.

I will bring my former self into this world.

A greater rift is needed to do so. Once this land is steeped in Rancor, the way shall open. The passage lies beneath the Buried Star Cemetery.

When the Crimson Nightmare returns, this body will be its vessel. Then we shall become one.

On that day, I will no longer be Tristan. And at last...you shall be gone, once and for all.
