To Emil

Emil, regarding that book you sold me—some pages have strange markings.

Doesn't it resemble the Hand of Trust's emblem?

I heard you've been picking up odd ends from the Astron Plains and selling them.

You didn't grab this from there, did you?

You know the rumors. They say the Hand of Trust started in a warehouse out there.

And that the founder was...pushed off a cliff by his own men.

Maybe just a load of gossip, but still—the name means trouble.

Tell me you haven't done anything reckless.

You must write back without fail.
