The ruins of a great abbey within Mailgrove.
Long ago, there was a monastic order that regarded ferrying letters and news across Auroria as a form of devotion. Letters entrusted to them were always delivered, and any dead mail were stored within their archives.
The order established a base in the Astral Plains that then gave rise to Mailgrove. The monks who handled correspondence managed every stage of its movement and governed the entire city through intricate magical design for added security.
At the time of Auroria's fall, divine upheavals swept across the land and the magical systems that protected the city collapsed. What remains today is little more than a submerged ruin.
Some of the magic once used to protect Mailgrove is still intact. The Antiquary Society and independent archeologists seek a means to investigate its sealed walls.
