Sport R-7 "Chiaroscuro"

The final work of iconic Quadra designer Georgia Barberis was a prototype for the manufacturer's new Sport R-7 model. Initially, the company's board members found her vision too "grim, brooding and extreme" for the brand. Incensed by their corporate narrow-mindedness and inspired by her own rage, Barberis created another prototype – this one even more stripped down and painted a furious red. The Board fell in love at first sight.
