"Humble Debut" - a volume of verse

A peace of sand
In a silicon hush
I breathe freedom
Where none shout
“We need this done yesterday!”
A department of one
Of operations no longer pending

For the first time in years, I saw the daylit sky
And it was everything
The cortisol in my blood yearned to cry out
Here I am!
Purchasing, sales, quarterly predictions
A bullish benzo boom

My only end
A blessed beginning
