Night City will soon be choosing its new mayor! Let's just hope it's an experienced politician like Weldon Holt. As for Jefferson Peralez – let's not kid ourselves – that guy's head's way up in the clouds.
No, Night Citizens weren't fooled by Peralez's fake charm and charisma. They can forecast him as the winner, but he's still losing in the independent polls. But that shouldn't surprise anyone at this point, right? Peralez's incessant attacks on Holt have disillusioned even his most faithful supporters, like thirty-six year old Daisy. "I'm tired of these endless arguments. At first I thought Peralez wanted change, now I see he's just out to get Holt," Daisy explained. It's hard not to agree.
Let's refresh our memories about one of these baseless attacks. Peralez blamed Holt for selling a vacant lot to Arasaka instead of building a clinic to help the "mentally ill" – in other words, CYBERPSYCHO.
Sorry, but does anyone really care? Not Night Citizens, that's for sure. Who in their right mind would want to live next to a building crammed with cyberpsychos?
