Connection to old Net established

Everything is going according to plan. We have managed to harness the bunker's systems to establish connection with the so-called old Net. Using its own protocols and algorithms will enable us to move around within cyberspace while avoiding unwanted attention and security measures. We're testing our hypothesis of using the old Net's protocols to approach the border of the Blackwall undetected and carefully reach beyond it. If we're successful in locating and capturing one of the AIs that lies beyond, we'll try to secure it with the infrastructure located here. Of course, it will be done in such a way as to not raise suspicion within NetWatch. According to our intelligence data, the agency is still wholly unaware of our presence here.
Sincerely,
Dr. Evan McRay
