Braindance Treatment for Pediatric Autism – Introduction

Activity in a developing brain is higher compared to that in an mature brain. This greater capacity to establish neural connections and reorganize cortical and subcortical brain structures allows for substantial compensating abilities, even in circumstances of extensive brain damage.
Unfortunately, in the case of children on the autism spectrum, the problem is one of hyperactivity. An overabundance of firing synapses results in synaptic communication disorders.
This study compared children on the autistic spectrum who did not receive any preventative measures with those who received early braindance therapy.
