DEPARTMENT OF CORRECTIONS
NIGHT CITY PRISON – BEHAVIORAL HEALTH DEPARTMENT
Incident Report
Inmate ID: P-43188
Prison Threat Classification: Severe
Incident Location: BD Therapy Wing, Upper Floor, Waiting Room Delta
Incident Type: Self-Termination
PATIENT HISTORY
Patient completed forty-seven (47) braindance rehabilitation sessions over a six-month period, following numerous violent offenses inside the prison. Standard post-session documentation noted the patient claimed that the therapy was “turning me into someone else” and “creating dark spots in my mind.” These and similar statements increased in frequency despite neurological scans within acceptable ranges and no detectable evidence of cyberpsychosis or neural degradation.
Patient demonstrated escalating resistance to treatment, emotional outbursts, and a fixation on personality dissolution. Clinical staff assessed these beliefs as delusions commonly associated with rehabilitation anxiety. In lay terms, the patient refused to believe they needed treatment.
THE INCIDENT
At approximately 0913 hours, while awaiting their next braindance session, the patient used an unauthorized sharpened metal fragment of unknown origin to cause self-harm. Surveillance footage shows the patient repeatedly inflicting penetrating wounds to their neck with the sharpened fragment, while proclaiming, “I’m free.” Death occurred from catastrophic blood loss prior to medical intervention.
CONCLUSION
Investigations conclude the patient’s suicide was primarily a result of pre-existing antisocial pathology, compounded by delusions brought on by resistance to rehabilitation therapy methods.
No evidence of staff misconduct or unauthorized braindance protocols were identified.
