Alt Cunningham.
I think about her sometimes, what happened to her, where she ended up. Maybe like me, hidden from the world, frozen in space and time. Her consciousness floats over the wires, mixing and melting, losing its shape.
Soulkiller. A copy of a person. Again – it's the same as it always is. It was supposed to be freedom, an escape from death, a backup. But tech knows no morality, tech is a tool, and the most powerful control the tools. Instead of freedom, it became the chains. Instead of dealing a major blow to the system, it became just another weapon in its arsenal.
Sometimes I think I can hear her voice, like an echo. But it''s so far, so different. And when I call out for her, nothing. When I try to track it down, I don't understand the traces left behind, where they lead, it all feels so alien. It's beyond what I can perceive, beyond what my mind can process. But maybe that's good, maybe it's best we never meet.
