Archived Conversation: Asami Satō and Ethan Evans

ASAMI SATŌ: You have our man, we have yours
ASAMI SATŌ: I believe an exchange would be in both Arasaka's and Militech's best interests
ETHAN EVANS: Ahh...
ETHAN EVANS: And is this why you arranged to make this swap in the middle of nowhere in the shadow of a bridge?
ASAMI SATŌ: What are you suggesting?
ETHAN EVANS: That this is an unauthorized transfer
ETHAN EVANS: You want to nip this thing up quickly before word floats to the top
ETHAN EVANS: And that's why I say there will be no exchange
ETHAN EVANS: Only a purge
ASAMI SATŌ: There's worth in paranoia but only in small doses
ASAMI SATŌ: Settling this matter works in my favor, yes
ASAMI SATŌ: but also equally in yours
ASAMI SATŌ: Your superiors at Militech would not be pleased to hear you allowed an enemy spy to operate on your watch
ETHAN EVANS: Concerned about my career, is that it? How noble of you
ASAMI SATŌ: Very well, if you don't want to come, don't come
ASAMI SATŌ: We'll let yours stay put and you'll do the same with ours
ASAMI SATŌ: I'm certain our man won't ever let a single word slip
ASAMI SATŌ: Are you positive you can guarantee the same of yours?
ETHAN EVANS: OK, fine, let's do it but we keep it fucking it quiet
ETHAN EVANS: One car each - just you, me and our agents
ETHAN EVANS: No security detail, no extra eyes
ETHAN EVANS: Clean and simple
ASAMI SATŌ: Just as I prefer it.
