New quests and Edgerunners content
Update 2.5 brings two new side quests and several additions tied to the anime. Clampdown is set before the events of Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2 and unlocks after completing The Heist, finishing two gigs for fixer Wakako and waiting for her message. It rewards a five-piece gear set based on King. The new radio station HKGN 102.0 FM plays tracks from Cyberpunk: Edgerunners.
Welcome to Paradise is a guided tour of Night City narrated by Richard Night, unlocking after The Heist and Street Cred level 15. There are also 12 new Minor Arcana tarot cards hidden around the city; scanning one starts an extension of Fool on the Hill with a special reward for the full set.
Dual-wielding and custom cyberware
The headline combat addition is Double Trouble, a new Cool perk with four auxiliary perks that lets V dual-wield Pistols and Revolvers from the Power category, with matching Photo Mode poses. Every perk is laid out in our perk trees.
Hand cyberware such as Mantis Blades, Gorilla Arms, Monowire and the Projectile Launch System can now be restyled at five Glamdocs, marked with a spray paint icon on the map, each with its own catalog of skins and customizable colors.
Clothing, vehicles and mods
Five new outfit sets arrive at clothing vendors, including Maxiwear (Heywood, Arroyo, Little China), Jinguji (City Center), NetWatch (Kabuki, Japantown) and IconAmerica (Pacifica, Badlands, Northside), with one more set coming later. The NUS Infiltrator set is sold in Kabuki and Japantown, and some hairstyles previously limited to NPCs are now available for V. Browse all clothing in the database.
Cross-platform mod support powered by mod.io lets players browse and install a selection of player-made mods from the in-game menu on PC, Mac, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 5 Pro, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch 2. Achievements and trophies cannot be earned on console from a modded save. Other changes include saves grouped by playthrough, item filters for apartment and vehicle stashes, a console field-of-view slider, DLSS 4.5 with up to 6X Multi Frame Generation, MetalFX Frame Interpolation on Mac and improved HDR.
