Michael Maldonado

Michael clung to various jobs, but jobs somehow never really clung to Michael. Years ago, when he landed a job repairing Militech AVs, he thought his Californian dream would finally come true. The come-down was painful: a mistake resulting in a crash, compensation for a paralyzed corpo who survived the accident, disciplinary action. Things went from bad to worse: he moved to Heywood, opened an auto repair shop and fell into bankruptcy. Then it was odd jobs here and there - cleaning megablocks and guarding parking lots with episodes of alcoholic haze in between.

When his wife finally decided she'd had enough, took their son and left, Michael decided to start fresh. He scammed a friend out of a loan, fled to Dogtown and opened a slot machine parlor. This time things will work out... right?
