Entry

Your Journal contains information about available, active and completed Jobs as well as their specific objectives. Open the Journal with [key] from the main menu.

You have a minimap in your HUD, but you can also open the full map with [key] from the main menu. Use the map to track objectives from active Jobs and other useful leads. It also displays points of interests such as vendors, ripperdoc clinics, fast travel points and available work.

Hold [key] to access your phone, allowing you to call or message people from your list of contacts. If you want to open a message you just received, press [key] or navigate to the Messages tab in the main menu. These messages will often contain useful information about your current Job or Gig.

Night City is a living, breathing world that offers many places to explore. Pay attention to your surroundings and check your map and phone regularly.

GIGS: These work opportunities are obtained from fixers throughout Night City. When you enter a district, you'll receive a message from the local fixer with a list of available Gigs and they will become marked on your map. When you near a Gig's location, you'll receive a message with additional details. These details will also be stored in your Journal.
NCPD SCANNER HUSTLES: These are jobs contracted out by the Night City Police Department. That's right – the NCPD is willing to pay mercs for settling public safety issues that they don't have the resources to handle themselves... Or maybe they just don't have the guts.
