Encrypted Shards – entry from the Cyberpunk 2077 database. You can read collected shards by pressing [key] when the notification appears. They can also be found in the Shards section of your Journal.

Some shards you find may contain data hidden behind encryption, preventing access from the authorities or nosy edgerunners. Select the CRACK SECURITY option to begin decryption through Breach Protocol and upload the Security Breach daemon in order to access the hidden content.
