The Consumable quickslot allows you to quickly and conveniently use Health Items. Press [key] to use the item assigned to it.
To assign an item, hold [key] to open the quick-access menu, go to the Consumable quickslot with [key], cycle through available items with [key] and [key], then select one to equip.
Consumables can also be assigned in your Inventory by selecting the Consumable quickslot.
Food, drinks and boosters can only be consumed from the Inventory. To do so, hover over an item and hold [key].
Health Items, such as inhalers and injectors, do not disappear from your inventory when you use them. Instead, they use charges which recharge automatically over time. The number of charges, recharge rate, and other effects can be upgraded with certain Perks and Cyberware.
When you acquire a higher Tier of a Health Item you already possess, it will automatically replace the lower Tier version in your inventory. You cannot possess multiple Tiers for the same Health Item at one time.
Food regenerates Health. Drinks regenerate Stamina.
Effects gained from consumables do not stack. A new effect will replace the current one.
