The 3.3.0 PTR is live, with known issues
The Season 16 public test realm went live on October 27, and Blizzard has already named its first known issues. A thread in the PTR forum lists the problems the team intends to address by the official 3.3.0 release, and the Diablo account on X pointed players to it with a thank-you for their feedback. For what the PTR actually tests, including War Plans Tactics, Tyrael’s Boons and Horadric Items, see our overview of the 3.3.0 PTR. The Horadric Items breakdown on d4guides.gg covers which Talisman sets each item supports.
The issue that affects every tester: character account copy is broken at the moment, so testing currently means starting a fresh character.
Horadric Items and Talisman sets
Several item and set effects do not yet work as described on the PTR. Blizzard lists these cases:
- Warlock, Flesh of Abaddon: the bonus damage while in Demonform may not apply until you leave and re-enter Demonform.
- Warlock, Fulcrum of Mephis: slain enemies only turn into Lesser Demons with the actual Fulcrum of Mephis set bonus, not with the bonus granted by the Horadric Item alone.
- Paladin: the bonus damage against Weakened enemies does not apply.
- Druid, Song of the Old Mountain: the 5-piece bonus still gives the Petrify explosion 200% bonus damage instead of the updated 300%.
- Rogue, Spellbound Steel: the 5-piece bonus does not increase Shadow Imbuement when the Shadow clone uses it.
War Plans and Tyrael’s Boons
The new War Plans trees have bugs of their own. Alternate characters may show no shared War Plans points until they change zones. The Merchant of Mystery from Tyrael’s Boons can appear on difficulties below Torment. And the Lair of Runes node currently does not increase rune drops from Lair Bosses.
To start planning for Season 16, the d4guides.gg build planner covers every class.
