The configuration
This setup is stored as a complete build — gear, skills, runes and all four cube slots work together and are not assembled from individual statistics.
- Set: Delsere's Magnum Opus
- Rating: tier B across all classes
- Kanai's Cube: Valthek's Rebuke, Ranslor's Folly, Ring of Royal Grandeur, Deathwish
- Skills: Energy Twister (Storm Chaser), Arcane Torrent (Flame Ward), Teleport (Reversal), Wave of Force (Static Pulse), Magic Weapon (Deflection), Storm Armor (Scramble)
- Passives: Audacity, Galvanizing Ward, Elemental Exposure, Illusionist
- Variants available: Torment 16 / Nephalem rifts, GR push
What the set does
This build wears Delsere's Magnum Opus. These bonuses apply once the matching number of set pieces is equipped — the damage multiplier hangs on them, not on the individual stats of the pieces:
- 2 pieces: Hitting an enemy with Arcane Orb, Energy Twister, Magic Missile, Shock Pulse, Spectral Blade, Electrocute, or Arcane Torrent also casts Slow Time at them. This effect will not trigger if the target is already inside a Slow Time bubble. The cooldown of Teleport will reset while you're inside bubbles generated from this set or cast by you.
- 4 pieces: You take 75% reduced damage while you have a Slow Time active. Allies inside your Slow Time gain half benefit.
- 6 pieces: Enemies affected by your Slow Time and for 5 seconds after exiting take 12,500% increased damage from your Arcane Orb, Energy Twister, Magic Missile, Shock Pulse, Spectral Blade, Electrocute, and Arcane Torrent abilities.
How the variants differ
Measured against the push version. Anything not listed here stays the same:
- Torment 16 / Nephalem rifts: swaps in skills Energy Twister (Wicked Wind), Arcane Torrent (Static Discharge), Slow Time (Time Warp), Teleport (Calamity); cube The Twisted Sword; gems Boon of the Hoarder, Bane of the Powerful.
Sockets and gems
The 3 legendary gems (Bane of the Trapped, Bane of the Stricken, Esoteric Alteration) belong in the jewellery slots — that is the only place their rank counts, and the only place they keep growing when you upgrade after a Greater Rift.
The remaining 6 sockets are filled with Topaz: the multiplier already comes from the set and the legendary powers, so one more base stat does more there than another effect would.
On the season theme
Shades of the Nephalem spawns a shadow clone of your class at every shrine and pylon that fights along for one minute. Activate shrines inside the pull, not on the way there. The fourth cube slot is already filled in every variant above.
