What the set does
This build wears The Legacy of Raekor. These bonuses apply once the matching number of set pieces is equipped — the damage multiplier hangs on them, not on the individual stats of the pieces:
- 2 pieces: Furious Charge refunds a charge if it hits only 1 enemy.
- 4 pieces: Furious Charge gains the effect of every rune and deals 1000% increased damage. For every 1% Life you are missing, the damage of your Ancient Spear is increased by 2%.
- 6 pieces: Hitting enemies with Furious Charge or Weapon Throw increases the damage of your next Ancient Spear by 5500% and causes it to release multiple spears from its target. This effect stacks and each spear throw consumes a maximum of 5 stacks.
How the variants differ
Measured against the push version. Anything not listed here stays the same:
- Torment 16 / Nephalem rifts: swaps in skills Battle Rage (Ferocity), Ancient Spear (Ranseur), Sprint (Rush), War Cry (Charge!); cube In-geom, Goldwrap; gems Boon of the Hoarder, Molten Wildebeest's Gizzard.
- Speed farming: swaps in skills Call of the Ancients (Together as One), War Cry (Charge!); cube Messerschmidt's Reaver, Fury of the Ancients; gems Molten Wildebeest's Gizzard.
Sockets and gems
The 3 legendary gems (Bane of the Trapped, Zei's Stone of Vengeance, Bane of the Stricken) belong in the jewellery slots — that is the only place their rank counts, and the only place they keep growing when you upgrade after a Greater Rift.
The remaining 8 sockets are filled with Diamond: the multiplier already comes from the set and the legendary powers, so one more base stat does more there than another effect would.
On the season theme
Shades of the Nephalem spawns a shadow clone of your class at every shrine and pylon that fights along for one minute. Activate shrines inside the pull, not on the way there. The fourth cube slot is already filled in every variant above.
